Breathe In, Breathe Out



 Hello my name is Louise, I am a mother of 2 young children, a Registered Nurse and a yoga teacher.

I was introduced to yoga 20 years ago by my mum and haven't stopped since. Yoga gives me so much, it helps me feel calm yet energised it strengthens and relaxes me.  I love the combination of meditation, mindfulness, toning and flexibility and the euphoric feeling of wellbeing it creates. It guides me to a place were I feel peace, love and self acceptance.

I qualified as a Yoga instructor with Camyoga in 2016 and set up Sawston Yoga.

I wanted to spread the benefits and the joy of Yoga by making it accessable to everyone.

Classes are small and have a light hearted atmosphere. I have created a peaceful haven to practice in a safe comfortable environment.

Each class incorporates mindfulness, relaxation, pranayama, meditation as well as a slow and fast flows of varied asana sequences.

 I aim to create a balance of good energy and restorative relaxation.

All levels are welcome and I encourage you to make the practice yours, tailored to suit your own needs.

I am also a qualified Reiki practitioner and enjoy the immense benefits Reiki gives to myself and others.

Open yoga class is for all levels, a combination of Hatha & Vinyasa flow. The asanas and sequences are modified to meet beginners and intermediate needs. A 60 min class energising and strengthening, pranayama and relaxation. 

This class is for complete to experienced beginners. Learn the basic moves to strengthen the body, open the breath and focus the mind. 

This class is perfect for beginners. Or for those who want to take it slow and easy on a Sunday evening. Lots of slow flow sequences allowing time to explore different asanas, calming pranayama and peaceful meditation.

 This can be for 1:1 or 2:1  Popular with beginners or those wanting to enhance their practice. A great opportunity to practice yoga with your partner, children, parents or friends.

 It can be whatever style or level and time or day that suits you. If you want to perfect particular asanas, create a workshop or focus on meditation, mindfulness, pranayama or all of the above. It can be tailored to you needs.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered through the hands near or on the body. It is simple, natural and save method of self healing. A treatment feels like wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. 

Feel Good Friday Yin Yoga

The perfect place to relax at the end of your week and get ready for your weekend.  

Relax, Recuperate,Rejuvenate,

Yoga positions are held for up to 10 mins. Focusing on the deeper layers of the body and meridian lines. The aim is to keep the body still, the breath soft and the mind slow. 

These classes are a mixture of -

  • Restorative - using props help support the body enabling relaxation.

  • Yin yoga - holding specific positions for longer periods of time.

  •  Yoga Nidra - guided meditation.

  • Reiki - helping your energy flow.
